This Monday, August 24th, we celebrated Alice Sheldon’s 100th birthday and the launch of LETTERS TO TIPTREE at Stefen’s Books in Perth, Western Australia. The night kicked off at 6pm at Stefen’s Books where we talked all things LETTERS TO TIPTREE and Tess Williams read her contribution to the book. Later, we moved over to Durty Nelly’s at for an interview with Tess Williams, Alisa Krasnostein and Di Darmody on the life and works of Alice Sheldon/James TiptreeJr./Raccoona Sheldon and the production of the book LETTERS TO TIPTREE. Turning into more of a dinner and a show, the atmosphere was relaxed and we really had a lively look at the life and times of one of the greatest writers of our field.
